Tulip
Tulipwood is free from knots but does have a big variation in colour and is suitable for painting but not clear lacquering. It is often used in the furniture trade where it is heavily stained and then lacquered. In our factory, besides using it for painted stair parts we also make a lot of large corbels for the kitchen trade.
